Unchalli Falls

Lushington Falls, also called Unchalli Falls, is a waterfall created by a 116 metres drop in the Aghanashini river. The fall is located in Siddapura, Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka, India. The falls are named for J. D. Lushington, a District Collector for the British Government, who discovered the falls in 1845. Heggarne, a hamlet in Uttara Kannada district, is 35 km from Siddapur The falls are reached by a 5 kilometres trek from Heggarne through thick forest.

Sirsi, Karnataka

Sirsi is a city in the North Kanara district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Sirsi was also know by the name Kalyanapattana during the Sonda Dynasty. It is a hill station town with a population of around 1,20,000 people. This is the largest city in North Kanara district. The city is surrounded by lush green forest and the region is popular for a large number of waterfalls. Hubli is the nearest large city, and the main businesses around the town are mostly subsistence and agriculture based.

Sahasralinga

Sahasralinga is a pilgrimage place in the Sirsi Taluk in the district of Uttara Kannada of Karnataka state in India. It is in the river Shalmala and is famous for being the location where around a thousand lingas which are carved on the rocks in the river bank. In fact, the name Sahasralinga means thousand-lingas in Sanskrit.
