Madan Mahal Station is the second main railway station of Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh. It comes under west central railway zone and is only 3 km away from the zonal headquarters as Jabalpur serves as the headquarter for west central railways. Jabalpur

Jabalpur is one of the major cities of Madhya Pradesh state in India. It is the third largest urban agglomeration in Madhya Pradesh and the 38th largest urban agglomeration in India as per the 2011 census statistics. Its old name was Jabalipuram which later changed to Jabalpur during British Governance. It is bordered by Katni to the north, Umaria to the north-east, Dindori to the east, Mandla to the south-east, Seoni to the south, Narsimhapur to the south-west and Damoh to the north-west.

Jabalpur division

Jabalpur Division is an administrative geographical unit of Madhya Pradesh state of India. Jabalpur is the administrative headquarters of the division. Currently (2005), the division consists of districts of Balaghat, Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, Narsinghpur, and Seoni. Jabalpur Division was originally constituted as a division of the Central Provinces of British India in 1861. The British division included the districts of Jabalpur, Sagar, Damoh, Seoni, and Mandla.

Jabalpur District is a district of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. The city of Jabalpur is the administrative headquarters of the district. The area of the district is 10,160 km² with of population 2,167,469 (2001 census). Jabalpur District is located in the Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh, on the divide between the watersheds of Narmada and the Son, but mostly within the valley of the Narmada, which here runs through the famous gorge known as the Marble rocks, and falls 30 ft.
