Aizawl district

The district is bounded on the north by Kolasib district, on the west by Mamit district, on the south by Serchhip districts and on the east by Champhai district. The district occupies an area of 3576.31 km². The headquarters of the district is Aizawl city, the capital of Mizoram. As of 2011 it is the most populous district of Mizoram.

Lengpui Airport

Lengpui Airport is an airport in Aizawl, Mizoram, India. The airport is connected by daily flights with Kolkata and Guwahati and three flights a week with Imphal and is located at a distance of 32 km from Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. Lengpui Airport is the first large airport in the country to be built by the State Government and it is the second largest airport in the North-East region.
