Burla, India

Burla is a town and a notified area committee in Sambalpur District in the state of Odisha, India. It is a small town on the banks of Mahanadi, and is 14 kilometers from Sambalpur. The communication for this town is excellent. One can reach this place by road with NH-6 from Sambalpur or Bargarh which is one of the more busier trunk routes in India (currently being converted in to two-way) as it connects central India to Kolkata.

Veer Surendra Sai Medical College

Veer Surendra Sai Medical College and Hospital (VSSMCH) is a premier government-run medical college and hospital in the Indian state of Odisha. Established in 1959, it is one of the oldest institutes in Odisha for imparting highly specialized medical education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. VSS, as it is popularly known, is recognized, regulated and monitored by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in charge of the medical education of India.

Ib River

Ib River is a tributary of Mahanadi river, located in North-Eastern Central India. It joins Mahanadi river flowing directly into the Hirakud dam. The river originates in hills near Pandrapet at an elevation of 762 m. It passes through Raigarh district and Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh and Jharsuguda and Sundargarh District of Odisha and finally meets Mahanadi at Hirakud Dam in the state . Ib river valley is famous for its rich coal belt, Ib Valley Coalfield.
