Parala Maharaja Engineering College

Parala Maharaja Engineering College is the first Government engineering college in southern Odisha. Established in 2009, the college was instituted by Naveen Patnaik, the then chief minister of Odisha. The college has one academic building and one workshop. It is a constituent college of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT). The logo of PMEC was designed by Lakhmikant Tripathy, a student of the 1st batch of Civil Engineering in March 2012.
