Sirohi

Sirohi is a city in southern Rajasthan state in western India. It is the administrative headquarters of Sirohi District, and was formerly the capital of the princely state of the same name ruled by Deora rajput. it is having five tehsil(administrative division)- aburoad,sheoganj,reodar,pindwara and sirohi itself. it is also known as Devnagari(due to many temples). Nearest railway station to Sirohi is Sirohi Road and Abu road station.

Sirohi district

Sirohi District is a district of Rajasthan state in western India. The town of Sirohi is the district headquarters. As of 2011 it is the third least populous district of Rajasthan, after Jaisalmer and Pratapgarh.

Mount Abu Observatory

The Mount Abu Observatory is located near the town Mount Abu in the state of Rajasthan. The observatory is at an altitude of 1680 metres and is adjacent to Guru Shikhar, highest peak of the Aravalli Range. The 1.2 m Infrared Telescope at Mount Abu is the first major facility in India specifically designed for ground based infrared observations of celestial objects.

Achalgarh Fort

Achalgarh is a fort situated at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:24|36|56.14|N|72|46|7.03|E|region:IN | |name= }} about 11 kilometres north of Mount Abu, a hill station in Rajasthan, India. The fort was originally built by the Paramara dynasty rulers and later reconstructed, renovated and named as Achalgarh by Maharana Kumbha in 1452 CE, one of the several forts built during his reign. The fort is in a dilapidated condition now.

Mithari River

Mithari is a river in Pali district originates from Aravalli Range in Pali district only. It vanishes in Jalore district near Sankhwali village. Bali, India and Falna comes in its basin. Temple Nimbeshwar is on the bank of Mithri river only. Its catchment area is about 1,644 km2, which is in Pali and Jalore districts.
