Kundah hydro-electric power house

The Kundah Hydro-electric Power Scheme is located in the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, India. It is the one of the biggest electricity generating schemes in Tamil Nadu State. The group of peaks Devarbatta, Karaikada, Koulingabetta and Porthimund, all over 2400 Metres ASL (above sea level) drain into two streams, Avalanche and Emerald. Avalanche and Emerald Dams, along with Upper Bhavani, form the major source of water for the Kundah hydro-electric project.

Bangitappal

Bangitappal (Cannabis tableland), is a valley in the southwest end of Mukurthi National Park located at: {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:11|15.39|N|76|30.33|E||| | |name= }}, elevation: 2,580 m at the confluence of two streams at the head of the Sispara Pass in the Western Ghats in Tamil Nadu South India. Bangitipal used to be a halting place on the old Sispara ghat road from Kozhikode to Ooty, constructed in 1832.

Coimbatore Junction, also known as Kovai Junction, is the primary railway station serving the city of Coimbatore. It has six platforms. It is a Major Railway junction in South India and the second busiest railway station in Tamil Nadu in Tamil Nadu. Many trains from Kerala to other parts of the country pass through Coimbatore Junction apart from 16 pairs of terminating trains.
