Mudaliarkuppam boat house, also known as Raindrop Boat House, is a water sport facility located on the East Coast Road, 36 km to the south of Mamallapuram and 92 km from Chennai. Chunampet

Chunampet is a village in the Cheyyur taluk of Kanchipuram district in India. It is located 99 kilometres from Chennai and 22 kilometres from Madurantakam on the Madurantakam-Marakkanam road. It was the seat of the zamindari of Chunampet during the colonial era. It is located at the southern edge of the Buckingham Canal. Chunampet is famous for a 19th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Kiratamanjeswarar.

Palar River

Palar is a river of southern India. It rises in Nandi Hills, India in Kolar district of Karnataka state, and flows 93 km in Karnataka, 33 km in Andhra Pradesh and 222 km in Tamil Nadu before its confluence into the Bay of Bengal at Vayalur about 100 km south of Chennai. It flows as a Guptagamini (underground course) for a long distance only to emerge near Bethamangala town, from where, gathering water and speed, it flows eastward down the Deccan Plateau.
