Chunampet

Chunampet is a village in the Cheyyur taluk of Kanchipuram district in India. It is located 99 kilometres from Chennai and 22 kilometres from Madurantakam on the Madurantakam-Marakkanam road. It was the seat of the zamindari of Chunampet during the colonial era. It is located at the southern edge of the Buckingham Canal. Chunampet is famous for a 19th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Kiratamanjeswarar.

Kazhuveli

Kazhuveli is the second largest brackish water lake in South India located in Tindivanam taluk of Villupuram district of the state of Tamil Nadu. It is about 18 km north of Pondicherry. The tank lies adjacent to the Bay of Bengal along the East Coast Road and encompasses about 15 villages with a catchment area of 4,722 ha. Kazhuveli is an old mangrove forest, which has been degraded over period of time.

Kaliveli Lake

Kaliveli Lake is a coastal lake in the Viluppuram District of Tamil Nadu, India. This lake lies approximately 16 kilometres north of Pondicherry and 10 kilometres north of Auroville, near the Bay of Bengal. Kaliveli lake is a seasonal wetland, with a gradient from freshwater to brackish water, and is an important feeding and breeding ground on migratory bird flyway.

Mudaliarkuppam boat house, also known as Raindrop Boat House, is a water sport facility located on the East Coast Road, 36 km to the south of Mamallapuram and 92 km from Chennai.
