Kaladungi
Kaladungi or Kaladhungi is a town and a nagar panchayat in Nainital district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The place is located just on the foothill, a good climate but summers are hot, located 26 km west of Haldwani on the Haldwani-Ramanagar road. Nainital is at distance of only 30 km to the north and Bazpur at about 19 km to south. It has a road connecting to Delhi via Bazpur, Tanda and Moradabad.

Ghorakhal
Ghorakal is the place situated in the Nainital district of the Uttarakhand state of India. Ghorakhal means pond for water to horses. It is the picturesque site at the height of more than 2000 mts. It is situated near Bhowali and is the seat for Army school, known as Sainik School Ghorakhal, established in 1966 at the Ghorakhal Estate of the Nawab of Rampur. The famous Golu Devta temple is situated on a hill above overlooking the school.

Birla Vidya Mandir
Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital is a residential public school for boys in India that opened in July 1947. The school is the product of the vision of Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, an Indian independence activist. The school was built in the 1870s as Oak Openings High School, first school of the naturalist and story teller from Nainital, Jim Corbett. In 1905 Oak openings was amalgamated with the Philander Smith Institute of Mussoorie, resulting in the Philanders Smith College.
