Wai Sano

Wai Sano is a volcano located in the western part of the island of Flores, Indonesia. Wai Sano consists of an elliptical caldera about one mile (2.5 km) wide, containing a lake 260 meters below the 903 meter caldera rim, itself part of Mount Umpu Rua. Two fumaroles are located on the southesastern shore of the lake. No historical eruptions are known.

Lesser Sunda Islands

The Lesser Sunda Islands or Nusa Tenggara ("Southeast Islands") are a group of islands in the southern Maritime Southeast Asia, north of Australia. Together with the Greater Sunda Islands to the west they make up the Sunda Islands. The islands are part of a volcanic arc, the Sunda Arc, formed by subduction along the Java Trench in the Java Sea.
