Pematangsiantar

Pematangsiantar (sometimes written as Pematang Siantar, acronym PT. Siantar or P. Siantar, colloquially just Siantar but the official name has no space) is an independent city in North Sumatera, Indonesia, surrounded by, but not part of, the Simalungun Regency. Pematangsiantar formerly had the status of a second level district (daerah tingkat dua) and has been elevated to Kota - its population was 219,319 in 1990 Census, 242,756 in 2000 Census, and 229,525 in the 2005 Intercensal count.

Asahan Regency

Asahan Regency is a regency in North Sumatra. Following the creation of the new Batubara Regency (which was carved out of Asahan Regency on 15 June 2007), the regency now covers an area of 3,675.79 square kilometres and according to the 2010 census had a population of 667,563 people. Its seat is Kisaran. The Asahan Sultanate was located in the region.

Dairi Regency is a regency on the northwest shore of Lake Toba in North Sumatra. In 2000, the regency covered an area of 1,927 square kilometres square kilometres and according to the 2000 census had a population of 271,983 people. Its seat is Sidikalang.
