Bima

Bima is a city on the eastern coast of the island of Sumbawa in central Indonesia's province West Nusa Tenggara. It is the largest city on the island of Sumbawa, with a population of approximately 142,443 in 2010, separate from (but surrounded by) the adjoining Regency of Bima with a population of 407,636. The people of Bima and the entire eastern side of Sumbawa speak what is known as Bima language.

Sangeang Api

Sangeang Api (Gunung Api or Gunung Sangeang) is an active complex volcano on the island of Sangeang in Indonesia. It consists of two volcanic cones, 1,949 metres Doro Api and 1,795 m Doro Mantoi. Sangeang Api is one of the most active volcanoes in the Lesser Sunda Islands. It erupted in 1988 and the island's inhabitants were evacuated. Between its first recorded eruption in 1512 and 1989 it erupted 17 times. It erupted again during December 2012.

Bima Regency

Bima Regency is a division of the Indonesian Province of West Nusa Tenggara. It is located on the island of Sumbawa and the capital is Woha. The Regency excludes but completely surrounds Bima City (Kota). It has two non contiguous parts, one part is the northern half of Sanggar Peninsula which is dominated by Mount Tambora, and the other half is the easternmost quarter of the island (exlcuding Bima City). Between the two parts is Dompu Regency.
