Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport

Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport is located 17 km northeast of Makassar and operated by PT. Angkasa Pura I. The new terminal was opened on 20 August 2008. This airport is the main gateway for flights to the eastern part of Indonesia, and named after Sultan Hasanuddin, a Sultan of Gowa, who fought against the Dutch East India Company in the 1660s.

Makassar

Trans Studio is the world's third-largest indoor theme park (as of 2009), located in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The 20,000 m and 20 meter high building houses the indoor theme park. .
