Makassar

Makassar — sometimes spelled Macassar, Mangkasara — is the provincial capital of South Sulawesi, Indonesia, and the largest city on Sulawesi Island. From 1971 to 1999, the city was named Ujung Pandang, after a precolonial fort in the city, and the two names are often used interchangeably. Trans Studio is built on the area of 12.7 hectares with investment up to IDR 1 trillion (approximately USD 104 million). Jeneberang River

The Jeneberang is a river of approximately 75 km in length in the southwestern half of the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. The catchment has an area of 760 square kilometers. The river rises near the 2833 meter high mountain Mount Bawakaraeng and runs through the districts of Gowa and Takalar up to the port city of Makassar, flowing into the Makassar Strait. The river has flooded the city regularly, notably in 1976.
