Kilronan Castle

Kilronan Castle, previously known as Castle Tenison, is a large country house standing in 40 acres of parkland on the shore of Lough Meelagh in County Roscommon, Republic of Ireland, 5 km north-west of the village of Keadew. The house, originally constructed c.1820, was considerably expanded in the 1880s to form the current building. The newer part is a two storey, irregular building with a large baronial tower adjacent to the older building. It now functions as a spa hotel.

Lough Allen

Lough Allen is a lake on the River Shannon in northeastern Connacht, Ireland. Most of the lake is in County Leitrim, with a smaller part in County Roscommon. The lake lies to the south of the River Shannon's source, near the Iron Mountains, and is the uppermost of the three main lakes on the river. The other two, Lough Ree and Lough Derg are much further to the south. The lake is shaped like an upturned isosceles triangle.

Cornashamsogue

Cornashamsogue is a small townland near Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, Ireland. It is located 10 minutes' drive north of Drumshanbo on the Dowra road. Its toponym derives from Cor na Seamsóg, which means 'round hill of the wood-sorrel'.

Lough Key is a lake in Ireland. It is located in the northwest of County Roscommon, northeast of the town of Boyle. The lough's name is believed to come from Cé, a druid; the lake was formed over his grave.

Killarga

Killarga or Killargue is a small village in County Leitrim, Ireland. Killarga is an ancient place of pilgrimage and was attached to a religious settlement, Cill Fhearga, which according to the Annals of the Four Masters was founded by a holy woman, St Fearga, as early as the 6th century. There is a Holy Well, a 19th-century lime kiln, a sweat house and other historical ruins in the neighborhood. Nearby is O'Donnell's Rock, which offers far-reaching views over five counties.
