Blackrock (Irish: Na Creagacha Dubha), is a seaside village just to the south of Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. The village is in the townland of Haggardstown. The current population of the village is about 3,000. In the 1950s and 60s, Blackrock was a holiday destination for people in landlocked Monaghan and Cavan.

Dundalk Ice Dome is the 1st permanent ice arena in Ireland, located in Dundalk Retail Park, Dundalk, County Louth, Republic of Ireland. The Ice Dome aims to become the centre of excellence for ice hockey in Ireland. It is currently home to the Irish national ice hockey squad and local team the Dundalk Bulls.
