Stratford-on-Slaney

Stratford-on-Slaney, also known as Stratford or Stratford-upon-Slaney, is a small village on the River Slaney in West Wick low in Ireland. Stratford was founded in 1775 by Edward Stratford, 2nd Earl of Aldeborough, as a model cotton producing town. As well as the cotton mill the town included a hospital, Catholic, Protestant and Presbyterian churches and 14 Taverns.

Timolin

Timolin (Irish: Tigh Mo Linne, meaning "Moling's house") is a village in the south of County Kildare, Ireland. It is on the former N9 road (now by-passed) about 80 km south of Dublin. It is a small village, with less than a hundred inhabitants, one shop and a two pubs. It is located close to the Moone High Cross Inn. During the Irish Confederate Wars of the 1640s Timolin was the scene of a notorious massacre.

Moone

Moone (Irish: Maen Colmcille, meaning "Colmcille's property") is a small village in the south of County Kildare, Ireland. It is on the former N9 road (now by-passed) about 80 km south of Dublin. It has only a few hundred inhabitants, a church, a National School, one shop and a small community centre. There is also pub called the Moone High Cross Inn. The name Moone comes from the Irish "Maen Colmcille" which means "Colmcille's property".
