Kingscourt railway station

Kingscourt Railway station is a former passenger station in Kingscourt, County Cavan, in Ireland. It was created by the Navan and Kingscourt Railway in 1865. This was purchased by the Midland Great Western Railway in 1888. The line ceased passenger services in 1947, and was then a freight only service. Until recent years it operated to haul gypsum from BPB plc Gypsum Industries plant in County Cavan to the port of Dublin.

Magheracloone Mitchells is a Gaelic Athletic Association gaelic football club from the parish of Magheracloone in County Monaghan, Ireland. The team participate in the Monaghan Senior Football Championship. The Magheracloone Mitchells GAA club pitch is situated on the main Carrickmacross-Kingscourt Road. Killanny Geraldine's GAC

Killanny Geraldines are a Gaelic Athletic Association gaelic football team from Killanny parish, County Monaghan, Ireland. The club was founded in 1889. They have never won the Monaghan Senior Football Championship to date but have come runners-up on 3 occasions. They have a senior team and they have Minor, U-16, U-14, U-13, U-12, U-10 and U-9 teams. These are very promising juvenile teams. The senior squad are currently in Gerry's Fresh Fruit and Veg league.
