Abbeyleix St Lazerians is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Abbeyleix, County Laois, Ireland. The club plays at senior level in hurling and has no less than 8 Laois Senior Football Championship titles to its credit, the last of which came in 1919. Hurling is the main game in the club and Abbeyleix is also the proud holder of 8 Laois Senior Hurling Championship titles, the most recent of which came in 1949.

Shanahoe GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling and gaelic football club in the village of Shanahoe, County Laois, Ireland, whose pitches are located about 2 km outside the village. The current club was founded as recently as 1980 and is located in the parish of Raheen, County Laois and amalgamates with St. Fintans, Colt to play underage football and hurling although there is still a very strong sense of rivalry between the two clubs.

Ballinakill GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling and gaelic football club in Ballinakill, County Laois, Ireland. The club colours are maroon and white and the club grounds are in Ballinakill village near the border with County Kilkenny. In 1888, the Ballinakill club won the first ever Laois Senior Football Championship but these days the club is more renowned as a hurling heartland.

Ballypickas GAA

Ballypickas GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling club in County Laois, Ireland. Ballypickas is located near Abbeyleix and the club grounds are at the quaintly named Cobbler's Hill. The club colours are green and gold hoops. The club has won many honours over the year's including the Laois Intermediate Hurling Championship twice, in 1937 and 1964. Ballypickas holds the joint record for wins in the Laois Junior Hurling Championship with no less than six titles in the grade.
