Littleton, County Tipperary

Littleton (Irish: An Baile Dháith) is a village in North Tipperary, Ireland. It is within the townlands of Ballybeg and Ballydavid, about 18 km northeast of Cashel and to the southeast of Thurles. By-passed by the M8 in December 2008, Littleton lies at a crossroads on the R639 road. Its population was 463 at the 2006 census. It is in the barony of Eliogarty.

Derrynaflan Chalice

The Derrynaflan Chalice is an 8th- or 9th-century chalice, that was found as part of the Derrynaflan Hoard of five liturgical vessels. The discovery was made on 17 February 1980 near Killenaule, South Tipperary in Ireland. According to art historian Michael Ryan the hoard "represents the most complex and sumptuous expression of the ecclesiastical art-style of early-medieval Ireland as we know it in its eighth- and ninth-century maturity.

Thurles Gaels GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling and gaelic football club, a combination of three clubs, Thurles Kickhams, Rahealty and Thurles Fennellys located in Thurles, Tipperary, Ireland. The club was formed in 2005 under the name Thurles KRF and changed its name to Thurles Gaels in 2009.

Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly

The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly (Irish: Ard-Deoise Chaisil agus Imligh) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese in mid-western Ireland. The archdiocese is in the secular province of Munster. The Diocese of Cashel was established in 1111 by the Synod of Rathbreasail and promoted to the status of a Metropolitan Province in 1152 by the Synod of Kells. The incumbent Ordinary is Dermot Clifford.
