Cloyne GAA

Cloyne GAA club is located in the small town of Cloyne in east County Cork, Ireland. Founded in 1887 they have yet to win a Cork Senior Hurling Championship title and have the dubious distinction of losing in the last 3 finals (2004, 2005 and 2006). Christy Ring one of their most famous players played for the team before moving to play for Glen Rovers in 1941 was often called The Wizard of Cloyne for his hurling prowess and a statue commemorating him stands in the centre of the town.

St. Coleman's Cathedral, Cloyne is a cathedral of the Church of Ireland in Cloyne, County Cork in Ireland. It is in the ecclesiastical province of Dublin. Previously the cathedral of the Diocese of Cloyne, it is now one of three cathedrals in the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross.

Aghada GAA

Aghada GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Aghada, Cork, Ireland. The club fields both Gaelic football and hurling teams in competitions organized by Cork County Board. The club is part of the Imokilly division of Cork. The current Cork football manager, Conor Counihan is a member of the club.

Aghada

Aghada (Irish: Áth Fhada, meaning "long ford") is a small fishing town situated on the south-east coast of Cork in County Cork, Ireland. Aghada is most famous for the Aghada GAA and its neighbouring villages are Whitegate and Rostellan. Notable people from the area include Cork Gaelic Football manager, Conor Counihan, footballers Pearse O'Neill and Kieran O'Connor, and brothers Declan and Ciaran O'Shea of the rock band Cyclefly. The existing power station was built in the early 1980s.

Restaurant The Yeat's Room of Ballymaloe House is a restaurant located in Shanagarry in County Cork, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1975-1980. The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant the "Red M", indicating 'good food at a reasonable price', in the period 1981-1994. The Egon Ronay Guide awarded the restaurant one star in the period 1975-1981, 1983-1984 and 1987-1988. The kitchen style of Ballymaloe House is Modern Irish.
