Carndonagh Community School

Carndonagh Community School (Irish: Pobalscoil Charn Domhnaigh) is a secondary school located in Carndonagh, County Donegal, Ireland. The school was formed in the 1970s when a small local boys' school and similar convent school for girls amalgamated with a large established co-educational school - Carndonagh Vocational School - to form the present school. Education at the school is based on the Irish Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate curricula.

Inishtrahull Lighthouse

Inishtrahull Lighthouse is the northerly most lighthouse in Ireland located on the Inishtrahull Island off the coast of County Donegal. Coupled with the lighthouse on Tory Island they form the two main landfall lights for shipping from the Atlantic rounding the north coast of Ireland, and navigation to local shipping. Work on the first lighthouse, situated at the east end of the island began in 1812, primarily due to Royal Navy ships using Lough Foyle.

Ardagh, County Donegal

Ardagh, Donegal (Irish: Ardachadh, meaning "high field") is a townland on the Inishowen peninsula near Ballyliffin in County Donegal, Ireland. It was the birthplace of the philosopher John Toland (1670–1722), a pantheist and anti-Catholic polemicist.

Malin Head

Malin Head, is located on the Inishowen Peninsula, County Donegal, Ireland and is the most northerly point of the island of Ireland. The northern most tip is represented by a headland named Banba's Crown located at latitude 55.38ºN. Malin Head gives its name to the Malin sea area. There is a weather station on the head. Banba's Crown on Malin Head is the most northerly point of the Irish mainland. Banba was one of the mythical queens of Ireland.

Kinnagoe Bay

Kinnagoe Bay is a secluded beach in Inishowen, County Donegal, Ireland. It is known for being the location of the wreck of the Spanish Armada ship "Trinidad Valencera" in 1588; in memory of which a plaque is mounted. The beach is accessible by a weaving road from the top of the hill. There is a small car park at the beach which gets very busy during the summer.
