San Giovanni Battista, Praiano

The Church of San Giovanni Battista is a church located in the center of Praiano, a small comune located on the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy. Constructed in the Romanesque style, San Giovanni Battista has a rectangular plan and a vaulted ceiling, featuring Italian Baroque design elements on the inside. Dating back to the 11th–12th centuries, the church features a very well preserved maiolica flora- and fauna-inspired tiled floor and a pipe organ from Neapolitan organ masters.

Sirenuse

The Sirenusas, also known as the Gallos (Li Galli) or The Roosters are an archipelago of little islands off the Amalfi Coast of Italy between Isle of Capri and 6 km (4 miles) southwest of Positano. The name, Sirenuse, is a reference to the mythological sirens said to have lived there. The archipelago consists of three main islands, Gallo Lungo which takes the form of a half-moon, La Castelluccia also known as Gallo dei Briganti, and nearly circular La Rotonda.

Stabiae

Stabiae was an ancient Roman town, located close to the modern town of Castellammare di Stabia approximately 4.5 km southwest of Pompeii. It was positioned on a 50 m high headland overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Being only 16 kilometres from Mount Vesuvius, this seaside resort was largely destroyed by two metres of tephra ash in 79 AD. Originally a small port, by the 6th century BC Stabiae had already been overshadowed by the much larger port at Pompeii.
