Villa Cimbrone

Villa Cimbrone is a historic building in Ravello, on the Amalfi coast of southern Italy, dating from at least the 11th century AD, although little of the original structure is now visible. The building was much altered and extended, using a motley collection of salvaged architectural elements from other parts of Italy and elsewhere, by Ernest William Beckett (later Lord Grimthorpe), an English politician, in the early twentieth century.

Amalfi Cathedral

Amalfi Cathedral (Italian: Cattedrale di Sant'Andrea/Duomo di Amalfi) is a 9th century Christian structure in the Piazza del Duomo, Amalfi, Italy. It is dedicated to the Apostle Saint Andrew. Predominantly of Arab-Norman Romanesque architectural style, it has been remodeled several times, adding Romanesque, Byzantine, Gothic, and Baroque elements. The cathedral includes the adjoining 9th century Basilica of the Crucifix. Leading from the basilica are steps into the Crypt of St. Andrew.

Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline on the southern coast of the Sorrentine Peninsula in the Province of Salerno in Southern Italy. USS Nauset (AT-89)

USS Nauset (AT–89) was a Navajo class tug in the United States Navy Nauset was laid down 10 August 1942 by the Cramp Shipbuilding Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; launched 7 September 1942; and commissioned 2 March 1943; Lt. (j.g. ) H. K. Wombacher in command. Following shakedown off the mid-Atlantic and New England coasts, Nauset departed Norfolk, Virginia 28 April, and sailed, via Bermuda, to Mers-el-Kebir, Algeria, arriving 26 May.
