Chiasiellis

Chiasiellis, sometimes Chiasiellis di Mortegliano (Cjasielis di Mortean) or Chiasellis, is a hamlet in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of north east Italy. It is a frazioni of the comune of Mortegliano in the Province of Udine. It lies to the east of the main village of Mortegliano and has around 500 inhabitants. The name of the village comes from a Friulian word meaning "boxes" which described the small houses of local farmers and shepherds.

Natisone

The Natisone is a 60 kilometres long river flowing in Slovenia and Italy. It flows for some time as a border river between Slovenia and Italy, continues in Slovenia and then crosses the border and continues in Eastern Friuli, in northeastern Italy. It is the main tributary of the Torre and a sub-affluent of the Isonzo.

Udine Cathedral

Udine Cathedral (Italian: Duomo di Udine, Cattedrale di Santa Maria Maggiore) is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Udine, Italy. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Udine. The cathedral's construction began in 1236, on a Latin cross-shaped plan with three aisles and side-chapels. The church was consecrated in 1335 as Santa Maria Maggiore.
