Massa Centro railway station

Massa Centro railway station (Italian: Stazione di Massa Centro) serves the town and comune of Massa, in the region of Tuscany, central Italy. Opened in 1862, it forms part of the Pisa–La Spezia–Genoa railway. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services to and from the station are operated by Trenitalia.

Malaspina Castle

The Malaspina Castle is located in Massa, Italy. It crowns the top of a rocky hill and dominates the wide underlying plain and part of the Tyrrhenian coast. From the 17th century the main purpose of the castle was military and it served as a prison until 1946. The castle was subsequently restored and reopened to the public.

Orto Botanico delle Alpi Apuane "Pietro Pellegrini"

The Orto Botanico delle Alpi Apuane "Pietro Pellegrini" (3 hectares), also known as the Orto Botanico di Pian della Fioba, is a nature preserve and botanical garden located at 900 meters altitude in Pian della Fioba, Massa, Province of Massa-Carrara, Tuscany, Italy. It is operated by the town in collaboration with the Università della Toscana. The garden was established in 1966 for the study of plants indigenous to the Apuane Alps and dedicated to botanist Pietro Pellegrini (1867–1957).

Monte Sagro

Monte Sagro is a mountain in the Alpi Apuane, in Tuscany, central Italy, overlooking the city of Carrara. It is located in the northern part of the range, and, being mostly composed of marble of renowned quality, is home to several quarries. The name (meaning "holy") identifies it as a sacred place for the ancient Liguri tribe, together with the Monte Bego at the modern boundary between France and Italy.
