Shōdo Island

Shōdo Island is an island located in the Inland Sea of Japan. The name means literally "Island of Small Beans". There are two towns on the island: Tonoshō and Shōdoshima, comprising the district of Shōzu. The island is famous as the setting for the novel Twenty-Four Eyes, and its subsequent film adaptations. The island was the first area of Japan to successfully grow olives, and is sometimes known as "Olive Island".

Kankakei Ropeway

The Kankakei Ropeway is a Japanese aerial lift line in Shōdoshima, Kagawa. This is the only line operated by Shōdoshima Sōgō Kaihatsu . The line opened in 1963. It runs through Kankakei, a gorge on Shōdoshima Island. The gorge is known for its unique view, made by diastrophisms and erosions.

Yakuri Cable

The Yakuri Cable is a Japanese funicular line in Takamatsu, Kagawa. The line does not have any official name. This is the only funicular line Shikoku Cable operates, while it also operates aerial tramways. The line opened in 1931 as a route to Yakuri-ji, the 85th temple of Shikoku Pilgrimage.
