Tsukishima

is a place located in Chūō, Tokyo, Japan. It is an island formed of reclaimed land completed in 1892, using earth from the dredging work performed to create a shipping channel in Tokyo Bay. At this time, it was designated an area for iron-working in accordance with the Fukoku Kyōhei National Policy. The second area of reclaimed land forming the island was completed two years later in 1894.

Tsukiji

Tsukiji (築地) is a district of Chūō, Tokyo, Japan, the site of the Tsukiji fish market. Literally meaning "reclaimed land," it lies near the Sumida River on land reclaimed from Tokyo Bay in the 18th century, during the Edo period. There are also districts named Tsukiji in Kobe and Amagasaki, cities in Hyōgo Prefecture, although neither is as well known as Tokyo's.

Shintomichō Station (Tokyo)

Shintomichō Station (新富町駅, -eki) is a railway station in Chūō, Tokyo Prefecture, Japan. Its station number is Y-20. The station opened on 27 March 1980, and consists of two side platforms.

Harumi Island Triton Square

Harumi Island Triton Square is a high-rise office and residential complex in the Harumi district of Chūō, Tokyo, Japan. It consists of four towers, one of which is significantly shorter than the others; the three tall towers are the source of the name "Triton," and the total number of four is the source of the name "Square. " Triton Square is located near Kachidoki Station on the Toei Oedo Line and Tsukishima Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line.

Tsukiji Hongan-ji

, sometimes archaically romanized Hongwan-ji, is a Jodo Shinshu Buddhist temple located in the Tsukiji district of Tokyo, Japan. Tsukiji Hongan-ji's predecessor was the temple of Edo-Asakusa Gobo (江戸浅草御坊), built in Asakusa in 1617 at the behest of the 12th monshu, Junnyo Shōnin. The temple burned during a city-wide fire in 1657, and the shogunate refused to allow it to be rebuilt in Asakusa due to a prior project there.
