The Kazunogawa Pumped Storage Power Station uses water from the Sagami River system to power an 800 MW pumped storage hydroelectric scheme. It is located 18 km east of Kōshū in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Construction on the power station began in 1991 and the first generator was commissioned in 1999.
