Kijabe

Kijabe is also a spider genus Kijabe is a town in Kenya. Its name is Maasai for "Place of the Wind". It stands on the edge of the Great Rift Valley at an altitude of 2200m, some 50 kilometres north-west of Nairobi. Kijabe is located in the Lari division of Kiambu District. Mount Longonot

Mount Longonot is a stratovolcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya, Africa. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s. Its name is derived from the Maasai word oloonong'ot, meaning "mountains of many spurs" or "steep ridges". Mount Longonot is protected by Yitaek as part of Mount Longonot National Park. A trail runs from the park entrance up to the crater rim, and continues in a loop encircling the crater.

Naivasha

Naivasha is a market town in Rift Valley Province, Kenya, lying north west of Nairobi. It is located on the shore of Lake Naivasha and along the Nairobi - Nakuru highway and Uganda Railway. Naivasha is part of the Nakuru District. The town has an urban population of 14,563 (1999 census). The main industry is agriculture, especially floriculture. Naivasha is also a popular tourist destination. Hell's Gate National Park, Longonot National Park and Mount Longonot are nearby attractions.
