Gatundu

Gatundu is a small town in the Central Province of Kenya. It is known for the first Kenyan president Jomo Kenyatta who was from this area, as well as his son, Uhuru Kenyatta, now 4th President of Kenya and former Member of Parliament representing Gatundu South constituency.

Ruiru

Ruiru is a town in the Kiambu County of Kenya’s Central Province. Located within three kilometers of Nairobi's city boundary, Ruiru is a dormitory town for the nation's capital, and is connected by both rail and road. The town covers an area of 292 km², and is surrounded by numerous coffee plantations. In 1999, Ruiru had a population of 100,000, but has undergone rapid population growth in response to shortage of available housing in Nairobi.

Kenyatta University

Kenyatta University,(commonly initialized as KU)is located in Nairobi, Kenya. The University main campus is located in Kahawa, about 20 kilometres from Nairobi's city centre, along the Nairobi-Thika road. The institution is the second largest in Kenya. In 1997 it had about 8,000 students. As of 2009, has about 24,000 students.

Rosslyn Academy

Rosslyn Academy is a private Christian international school in Nairobi, Kenya. It was founded in 1967. It is an international, coed, day school with a North American curriculum and classes from preschool to twelfth grade. Enrollment is approximately 550, with a senior graduating class ranging from 35-50 each year. Approximately 40% of the students are American, and more than 40 nationalities are represented in the school. Most of its teachers are North American certified.

Moi International Sports Centre

The Moi International Sports Centre (abbreviated as M.I.S.C. ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kasarani, Kenya. It was built in 1987 for the All-Africa Games held in Nairobi. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium was used to host the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards. The stadium had been closed since January 2010 for major renovations costing about Ksh. 900 million, which was funded by a grant to the Government of Kenya by the Government of China.
