Mukaa is a village and location in Makueni District of Eastern Province in Kenya. The community is a tight and small one, and they are generally peaceful. Mukaa was founded in the late 19th century by AIM (Africa Inland Mission, Later Africa Inland Church) Missionaries. They built a church.

Wote

Wote is a town in Kenya. It is the capital of Makueni District of Eastern Province. It forms a town council with a population of 56,419, of whom 5,542 are classified urban (1999 census). Wote town has six wards: Kako, Kaumoni, Kikumini, Muvau, Nziu and Wote. Most of them are located in Makueni Constituency, but Kako ward belongs to Mbooni Constituency and Kaumoni ward to Kaiti Constituency . Wote is also headquarters of Wote division of Makueni District.

Machakos Institute of Technology

The Machakos Institute of Technology (MIT) is a private institute in Machakos, Eastern Province, Kenya. MIT has six schools with a strong emphasis on social work, community development, scientific and technological research. MIT was founded in 2008 in response to the increasing expansion in primary and secondary education in Kenya over the years and a lack of corresponding increase in mid-level training colleges and universities.

Machakos

Machakos is a town in Kenya, 64 kilometres southeast of Nairobi. It is the capital of the Machakos District in Eastern Province of Kenya. Machakos Town is a major rural centre, and also a satellite town due to its proximity to Nairobi. Its population is rapidly growing and is 192,117 (as of 2009) (this estimation is probably too high, see). People who live here are mostly the Akambas though it is a cosmopolitan town. Machakos is surrounded by hilly terrain, with a high number of family farms.
