Our Lady of Hvosno

Our Lady of Hvosno (Serbian: Богородица Хвостанска, Bogorodica Hvostanska) is a Serbian Orthodox Christian monastery. It is situated at the foot of Mokra Mountain, nearby hamlets Vrelo and Studenica, some 20 kilometers north of Peć. Our Lady of Hvosno was declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance on 10 July 1967, and is under protection of Republic of Serbia.

Peć

Peć is a city in north-western Kosovo, and the administrative centre of the homonymous district. The governor of the city is Ali Berisha. The Albanian name's definite form is Peja and the indefinite Pejë. Other names of the city include the Latin Pescium and Siparantum, the Greek Episkion (Επισκιον), the Ottoman Turkish ايپك (İpek), the Slavonic Petcha, and the formerly used form Pentza.

Patriarchate of Peć

The Patriarchate of Peć is a Serbian Orthodox monastery located near Peć, in Kosovo. The complex of churches is the spiritual seat and mausoleum of the Serbian archbishops and patriarchs. In 1947, the Patriarchate of Peć was added to Serbia's "Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance" list, and on 13 July 2006 it was placed on UNESCO's World Heritage List as an extension of the Visoki Dečani site which was overall placed on the List of World Heritage in Danger.
