Third Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge

The Third Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge over the Mekong is a bridge that connects Nakhon Phanom Province in Thailand with Thakhek, Khammouane in Laos. The bridge's foundation stone was laid on March 6, 2009, and it opened for traffic on November 11, 2011. The bridge is 1423 metres long and 13 metres wide.

Nakhon Phanom University was established in 2005 by combining the existing tertiary schools of Nakhon Phanom Province: Nakhon Phanom Rajabhat University, Nakhonphanom Technical College, Nakhonphanom College of Agriculture and Technology, Thatphanom Community Education College, Nawa Community Education College, and Boromarjonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom. Nakhon Phanom Province

Nakhon Phanom
