Mazirbe

Mazirbe is a village place in Kolka parish, Dundaga municipality, Latvia 18 km southwest of Kolka. It is one of twelve Livonian villages on Līvõd rānda - the Livonian Coast. Mazirbe is the cultural capital of the Livonians. The modern Livonian flag (introduced in the 1920s) is green for the forests, white for the sandy beaches of the coast, and blue for the sea.

Košrags

Košrags is a populated place in Kolka parish, Dundaga municipality, Latvia on the shore of the Irbe Strait of the Baltic Sea. One of twelve Livonian villages on the Līvõd rānda - the Livonian Coast in Courland (Kurzeme). Other names: Kosraga, Koshragutsiems, Košraga, Košrags, Košraguciems, Kosraga Ciems, Kosraguciems, Košraga Ciems Kosrags's farm "Kukini" was mentioned in 1680 chronicles for the first time. By 1770 there were four old farms in Kosrags (Kine Diki, Kukini, Tilmaci and Zoki).

Pitrags

Pitrags is a populated place in Kolka parish, Dundaga municipality, Latvia at the mouth of the river Pitraga. One of twelve Livonian villages. Other names: Pitraguciems, Pitrag, Pitraga Ciems, Petragga, Pitraga, Pitragutsiyeme. Was founded in Medieval times by several brothers who arrived from Saaremaa and settled here.

Saunags

Saunags is a populated place in Kolka parish, Dundaga municipality, Latvia, located 10 km from the Cape Kolka, within the borders of Slītere National Park. Name derived from Livonian Sǟnag, meaning pike-perch, a local fish. It is possibly the oldest of the twelve Livonian villages on the Līvõd rānda - the Livonian Coast. It consists of two parts - Saunags and Dižsaunags (from Latvian - Great Saunags). Located along the coast of the Baltic Sea and formerly inhabited by Livonian people or Livs.

Dundaga

Dundaga is a village in Courland, Latvia. From 2009 it's the administrative centre of Dundaga municipality. Dundaga is famous for its castle from late 13th century, constructed by the Archbishopric of Riga. From the 16th until the 20th century, Dundaga Castle was the centre of the largest private estate in Courland. Most of land in this area, as well as in neighbouring areas, for many centuries until 1918 belonged to the Baron Osten-Sacken family, an important local Baltic-German noble dynasty.
