Mandromodromotra is a town and commune in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Taolanaro, which is a part of Anosy Region. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 4,000 in 2001 commune census. Only primary schooling is available. The majority 50% of the population of the commune are farmers, while an additional 10% receives their livelihood from raising livestock. The most important crop is rice, while other important products are lychee, cassava and sweet potatos.

Anosy Region

Tôlanaro
Tôlanaro or Tolagnaro is a city (commune urbaine) on the southeast coast of Madagascar. It is the capital of the Anosy Region and of the Tôlanaro District. It has been a port of local importance since the early 1500s, and a new port has been built at Ehoala by QMM and the World Bank. Formerly Fort Dauphin, it was the first French settlement in Madagascar.
