Theme Park Hotel was built in 1971 and it is the first hotel to be built at Genting Highlands. Theme Park Hotel was initially called the Highlands hotel, but it was later renamed as Theme Park Hotel. The hotel was planned on 31 March 1969 by the founder of Genting Malaysia Berhad, Tan Sri (Dr) Lim Goh Tong. It is located at the main entrance to Genting Outdoor Theme Park. It has 423 rooms.
