Bahau is the principal town of Jempol district, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The name Bahau is believed to have been derived from a Chinese phrase. Bahau is literally translated as "Horse's Mouth" while the nearby town, Mahsan means "Horse's Body" in Cantonese.

Batu Kikir

Batu Kikir is a small town in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Batu Kikir is located in between Bahau and Kuala Pilah. It is made popular by a phrase Batu Kikir Jambatan Bosi from a line of lyrics of a popular Malaysian song "Apo Kono Eh Jang". Batu Kikir is also known as the birthplace of Pendita Za'aba (Zainal Abidin Ahmad), a renowned intellectual and wordsmith in Malaysia. He is the first and only 'Pendita' in the country.

Kuala Pilah

Kuala Pilah is a town and district in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Commonly called Pilah by the mainly Malay Minangkabau inhabitants, it is also the name of a district. It is an old valley town with many of the pre-war Chinese shop houses still fronting the main streets surrounded by traditional style Malay village houses built on stilts nestled amongst extensive rice fields. Among the local specialities are Minangkabau food like, masak lemak cili api and daging salai masak kichap.
