Quintana Roo Territory
Quintana Roo Territory was one of the territories of Mexico, located on the southeastern Yucatán Peninsula, from 1902 to 1974. Territory The territory was created 24 November 1902 by decree of the President of Mexico Porfirio Díaz, from land that had previously been part of the State of Yucatán, after a turning point in the Caste War of Yucatán. State On 8 October 1974 Quintana Roo Territory became the present day State of Quintana Roo.
