Omealca, Veracruz

Omealca is a municipality of the state of Veracruz in Mexico. It is also the name of the city which serves as the municipality seat. Omealca means place between two rivers in nahuatl, due to it being next to Blanco river and above a subterranean one. The city has a population of about 29,300.
