The University of Namibia (UNAM) is the national university of Namibia, located in the Pioneers Park residential area of Windhoek. Established by an act of National Assembly on 31 August 1992, UNAM includes Faculties of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Economics & Management Sciences Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Medical & Health Science, and Science. The University of Namibia is the only institution to offer a doctorate in the study of the Khoekhoe language.

The Windhoek Country Club Resort is a multi-use resort outside of Windhoek, Namibia owned by Legacy Hotels and Resorts International.
