Iihongo

Iihongo is a village in the northern part of Namibia, exactly 25 km east from the town of Ondangwa. The village was first founded in 1989. It played a great part in the struggle for the countries independence, this was because of the headman, who was known as Nehale ya Mpingana who in 1908 directed the Ndonga people to attack the Germans at a place called Namutoni. Today, the village is under the rule of Leonard Mwandingi.

Oshigambo

Oshigambo is a village in the Oshikoto Region of northern Namibia. It is situated on the banks of Oshigambo River east of the Etosha pan. The village features a secondary school, Oshigambo High School, as well as a primary school.

Oniipa

Oniipa is a settlement in the Oshikoto Region of northern Namibia and the district capital of the Oniipa electoral constituency. It lies just outside of Ondangwa. It is the hometown of former Lutheran bishop and liberation leader Leonard Auala. There is also the well-known old church hospital called Onandjokwe Luthern Hospital, which was named after the first female nurse.
