Haringvliet
The Haringvliet is a large inlet of the North Sea, in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. It is an important estuary of the Rhine-Meuse delta. Near Numansdorp, the Hollands Diep splits into the Haringvliet and the Volkerak estuaries. It is closed off near Goedereede from the North Sea by the Haringvlietdam, which provides a road connection between the island of Voorne to the north and the island of Goeree-Overflakkee to the south.

De Hooge Heerlijkheid is a restaurant located in Middelharnis in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the periods 1975-1992 and 1995-1996. Owner and then head chef John Kern was one of the founders of Les Patrons Cuisiniers. John and Wieke Kern founded the restaurant in 1969. Simonshaven
Simonshaven is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Bernisse, and lies about 4 km southwest of Spijkenisse. In 2001, the town of Simonshaven had 231 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.06 km², and contained 103 residences. The somewhat larger statistical area of Simonshaven has a population of around 290.

Spui (river)
The Spui is a small tidal river in South Holland in the Netherlands, separating the islands of Voorne-Putten and Hoekse Waard. Historically, it forked off the Oude Maas river at the town of Oud-Beijerland to end in the Haringvliet estuary, but as a (planned) result from the Delta Works, its flow has been reversed. There are no bridges or tunnels crossing the Spui, but there is a car ferry from Hekelingen to Nieuw-Beijerland, and a pedestrian and bicycle ferry between Oud-Beijerland and Rhoon.

Krammer
The Krammer is a body of water in the Netherlands. It is part of the Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta, and is situated between the islands Goeree-Overflakkee and Sint Philipsland. To its east, it continues into the Volkerak. To the west, it continues into the Grevelingen, from which it is separated by the Grevelingendam. Before 1967, it was a tidal river, but it was closed off as part of the Delta Works.
