Pijnacker

Pijnacker is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located about 4 km east of the city of Delft, in the municipality of Pijnacker-Nootdorp. Pijnacker has two stops on the Randstadrail Erasmuslijn between The Hague and Rotterdam: Pijnacker and Pijnacker-Zuid. Pijnacker was a separate municipality until 2002, when it merged with Nootdorp.

Nootdorp

Nootdorp is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located approximately 2 km to the east of Delft and about 6 km southeast of the centre of The Hague, in the municipality of Pijnacker-Nootdorp. Nootdorp was a separate municipality until 2002, when it merged with Pijnacker.

Leidschenveen-Ypenburg

Leidschenveen-Ypenburg is a Vinex-location in and district of The Hague, located in the southeast. It is geographically connected to the main body of the city by only a narrow corridor. It consists of four quarters: Hoornwijk and Ypenburg on the southwest of the A12 motorway and parallel railway to Utrecht, and Forepark and Leidschenveen on the northeast. Since 2005 the district has its own railway station, Den Haag Ypenburg, situated on the Gouda–Den Haag railway.

Eastern Gate (Delft)

The Eastern Gate (Oostpoort) in Delft, an example of Brick Gothic northern European architecture, was built around 1400. Around 1510 the towers were enhanced with an additional octagonal floor and high spires. This is the only city gate remaining in Delft; the others were demolished in the 19th century. It currently serves as an art gallery and private residence.
