Little Opawa River

The Little Opawa River is a river of the south Canterbury Region of New Zealand's South Island. It flows generally east from a ridge 20 kilometres southwest of Fairlie, joining with its southern neighbour, the Opawa River very close to their joint outflow into the Tengawai River, close to the settlement of Albury.

Maungati

Maungati is a lightly populated locality situated approximately 18 miles southwest of Timaru in the Canterbury region of New Zealand's South Island. It is a small farming community in an area with primarily sheep and cattle farming and some deer farming, and it has a 9 hole golf course and Māori rock drawings. Maungati comes from the Māori language words "maunga", meaning "mountain", and "ti", meaning "cabbage tree", and thus means "mountain of cabbage tree".

Opuha River

The Opuha River is located in Canterbury, New Zealand. A tributary of the Opihi River, its two branches flow southeast for 35 kilometres before joining the larger river between Geraldine and Fairlie. Heavy rainfall caused the collapse of the Opuha Dam during its construction on the river in 1997.
