Luggate
Luggate is a small township in the South Island of New Zealand. It is located on State Highway 6 between Wanaka and Cromwell, near the junction with State Highway 8A, approximately 15 km from the Wanaka township, just past Wanaka Airport. The Luggate 'Grandview Bridge' is a local icon listed highly in the Queenstown Lakes District Council's Historic Register.

New Zealand Fighter Pilots Museum
The New Zealand Fighter Pilots Museum is an aerospace museum located at Wanaka Airport on New Zealand's South Island. It was founded by Sir Tim Wallis and in 1996 became one of the first aerospace museums on the internet. The museum includes the Alpine Fighter Collection, dedicated to New Zealand's fighters during World War II. The museum is funded, in part, by grants from the Community Trust of Otago.

Warbirds over Wanaka
Warbirds over Wanaka is a biennial air show in Wanaka, held on the Easter weekend of even-numbered years since 1986. It is held at Wanaka Airport, 10 km south-east of Wanaka, in the southern South Island of New Zealand. Initially conceived by New Zealand live deer recovery pioneer, Sir Tim Wallis, as a display day for him to play with his collection of World War II aircraft, the show has grown into a major institution. Roads are closed and traffic is detoured around the area during the weekend.

Wanaka Airport
Wanaka Airport is the airport servicing the town of Wanaka, Otago, New Zealand and the surrounding ski fields. It is also the host of the biennial Warbirds over Wanaka air show and serves as a base for sightseeing flights to Milford Sound and Mount Aspiring National Park. The airport is located beside Highway 6, which is 10 km south-east from the centre of Wanaka township on a plateu above the small hamlet of Luggate. It replaced the original Mt Iron airstrip that was used up until 1985.

Cardrona River
The Cardrona River is found in Otago in the South Island of New Zealand. It is one of the first tributaries of the Clutha River, which it meets only five kilometres from the latter's origin at the outflow of Lake Wanaka. The Cardrona flows north for 40 kilometres down the steep narrow Cardrona Valley, which is also the location of one of New Zealand's most notoriously difficult roads, the Crown Range route.
