Lake Poerua
Lake Poerua is a shallow lake located in the West Coast region of New Zealand's South Island roughly 13 km southeast from Lake Brunner. A number of small streams flow into the lake, and the Poerua River flows from the lake into the Crooked River, which leads to Lake Brunner. The lake is just to the north of the settlement of Inchbonnie, and Lake Brunner Road and the Midland Line railway run along the eastern shore of the lake. Fishers visit Lake Poerua to catch trout.

Harman River
The Harman River is a river of New Zealand. It starts in the Browning Range of the Southern Alps and becomes the Arahura River, which flows into the Tasman Sea north of Hokitika. The river can be reached on foot using the Styx valley track. The river is named for R.J.S. Harman, a Canterbury surveyor, who discovered the nearby Harman Pass in 1865.
