A2 highway (Nigeria)

The A2 highway is a highway in Nigeria. It begins at Elele, a town in Rivers State from the junction of roads to the cities of Port Harcourt and Owerri. It proceeds northwesterly though Warri to Benin City, thence northerly via Okene, Kaduna, Zaria and Kano to the border with the Republic of Niger in the north of the country, connecting with the N10 highway of Niger.

Zaria

Zaria is a major city in Kaduna State in Northern Nigeria, as well as being a Local Government Area. Formerly known as Zazzau, it was one of the original seven Hausa city-states. The 2006 Census population was 408,198. The current Emir of Zazzau (Sarkin Zazau in Hausa language) is Shehu Idris.

Ahmadu Bello University

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) is the largest university in Nigeria and second largest in Africa, second only to Cairo University, Egypt. It is situated in Zaria. It was founded on October 4, 1962 as the University of Northern Nigeria. Ahmadu Bello University operates two main campuses, Samaru and Kongo campus.
