Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport

Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport is located in Kano, the capital city of Kano State of Nigeria. It was a Royal Air Force station before the country became independent. It is the main airport serving northern Nigeria and was named after Nigerian politician Aminu Kano. The airport consists of an international and a domestic terminals. Both terminals share the same runway. Construction started on a new domestic terminal, and was commissioned on May 23, 2011.

Audu Bako School of Agriculture

The Audu Bako School of Agriculture in Dambatta, Kano State, Nigeria awards diplomas in technical and vocational subjects for middle-level manpower. As of 2005 the college had 400 students. The college was established in 2002 and is owned and operated by Kano State. It is accredited to offer courses in agricultural and related technology, and a pre-ND course in Science and Technology. It is named after Audu Bako, a former governor of the state.
